NILAI, June 24th 2023 – Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) was the Temu Anwar @Negeri Sembilan location on June 24, which gathered approximately 3,000 students from universities, polytechnics, and high schools around the state. Temu Anwar is a youth dialogue program held serially since 2009, specifically for the public to approach and get to know the country’s prominent leader more closely.
In the program, which lasted for about two hours, Prime Minister YAB Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim delivered a talk on several vital issues, including social and economic.
Prime Minister also spent time answering various questions raised by the audience in a relaxed and harmonious session, among which was to look into the need to establish teaching hospitals to provide clinical teaching and training to future and existing doctors and other health professionals as well to look into the proposal to construct student residential college at USIM, which will be brought to the next Cabinet Meeting considering that is an urgent need at USIM.
USIM expressed gratitude to the Prime Minister for choosing USIM as the Temu Anwar@Negeri Sembilan program location, which will undoubtedly provide a different impact and perspective, especially for higher education students.
